Tanner Wolfe
Cinematographer
Tanner Wolfe is a cinematographer living and working in Los Angeles. He began his career as a photographer, working in the studio for other photographers. Eventually, he landed a job freelancing for the Associated Press. His work has been published in many national newspapers.
Tanner is a graduate of Brooks in Santa Barbara, California. His masters work was completed at the American Film Institute. Here he studied cinematography under the guidance of Stephen Lighthill, ASC and Bill Dill, ASC. While at the A.F.I. he had the opportunity to attend seminars and workshops by seminal artists, such as Emmanuel Lubezki, ASC, Laszlo Kovacs, ASC, Robert Richardson, ASC, Janusz Kaminski, ASC and many others.
Equally gifted whether shooting film or HD Tanner has shot many documentaries and narrative films since his time at the AFI. These projects have taken him to such places as Morocco, Guatemala, Cambodia, Israel, Iraq and India. Recently, Tanner has been shooting an archaeological show for the Travel Channel and completing a documentary about an ancient boat discovered in the Sea of Galilee.
